⚔️ The Warriors' Guild Induction
Inspired by Bernard Cornwell’s Warlord Chronicles, in that series there was a brotherhood of elite warriors - these great fighters would meet in secrecy on the eve of battle. Though they might stand on different sides when the sun rose, they gathered first as sword siblings. They shared stories and measured one another not by titles or lands, but by courage, skill, and the deeds that had earned them renown.
They knew a truth that lesser folk often forget: that respect for a worthy opponent does not weaken a warrior — it strengthens them.
For it is only through worthy foes that greatness is forged.
The Warriors' Guild was born from that ideal.
What began among the fields of Darkon has spread far beyond a single game, a single kingdom, or a single realm. Across battlefields, tournaments, practices, and wars, warriors of the guild have carried this tradition forward. Wherever fighters gather to test themselves, the spirit of the Guild endures.
The Guild does not ask where your loyalties lie. It does not ask what colors you wear, or what titles you hold.
Instead, it asks a simpler question:
- 🛡️ Have you conducted yourself as a warrior worthy of respect?
- 🛡️ Have you fought with courage when challenged?
- 🛡️ Have you shown ferocity in battle — and honor beyond it?
- 🛡️ Have you elevated those around you through your example?
For the Warriors' Guild recognizes not only strength of arm, but strength of character. We celebrate the competitor who pushes us to become better. The rival who earns our admiration. The fighter who reminds us why we first stepped onto the field.
Today, we gather in that same spirit.
Not as enemies. Not as allies. But as warriors.
We have witnessed your skill, your dedication, and the respect you have earned among your peers.
And so, before these assembled members of the Guild, we offer you a place among us.
May you continue to seek worthy challenges. May you continue to sharpen those who cross blades with you. May you carry yourself with both ferocity and honor.
